Principal's Message 4.25.25

Principal's Message 4.25.25

Rocket families,

It’s been a busy, but great last full week of April here with the Rockets! We were excited to celebrate PTO volunteer Molly Kirstein at the Barb Bossu Volunteer Spirit Awards Ceremony on Wednesday. We also got to celebrate our amazing office staff on administrative professionals day. Everywhere you look students are working on projects this spring, from Market Madness to Design Lab to studying tadpoles, and more!

We have just two more days of state testing next week. Our 5th grade students will take their Science OST on Monday and Tuesday. We will also complete any makeups next week. MAP Testing will happen on May 8 & 9 for all students.

Next week we are looking forward to celebrating Staff Appreciation week. I think you'll agree that we have the most amazing teachers and staff here, and they LOVE our Rockets. Let's show them a little love this week, too! Take a look at the PTO section of this newsletter for ideas on how you can participate.

Looking ahead, don't forget students do not have school on Tuesday, May 6 due to election day. Teachers will participate in professional development that day.

In our final month of the school year, we have many exciting activities on the calendar - field trips, ceremonies, class projects, Fullest Potential awards, field day, and more! We look forward to making great memories with all of our students, staff members, and families as we wrap up an unforgettable 24-25 school year. Keep an eye out in our newsletters for volunteer opportunities.

As always, if you have any questions, concerns or good news to pass on please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We love to hear from you.
