Principal's Message 4.5.24

Principal's Message 4.5.24

Rocket families,

What a great week we had with the Rockets! We celebrated Honor Roll, cheered on our March Madness teams, and had an AMAZING Rocket Blast! Thanks again to all of our wonderful volunteers and to everyone who donated time, items, or money to make this event a success!

Don't forget that Spring testing for the Ohio State Tests starts next week for 5th and 6th grades. We will be taking ELA tests. We will post testing dates in the newsletter each week. Your child's teachers will also continue to communicate information specific to their homerooms. Click here to see the full schedule.

To maximize your child’s testing experience, please make sure that they get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast.   Please remind your children to take their time and do their best!  It is important to have your child at school on time. There will be two parts to each test.  The time allowed for each test ranges from 60 – 120 minutes.  Students who arrive after the start time will not be permitted to enter the classroom until testing is completed and they will take the test during an alternate time. Please keep these dates and times in mind when scheduling doctor’s appointments, etc. If you have any questions about testing, please feel free to reach out to your teachers or Mr. Schneider at Benjamin.Schneider@lakotaonline.com.

Monday, April 8th we will be closed due to the solar eclipse. Your student brought home eclipse glasses on Thursday donated by the PTO. I'm so excited to be able to view it safely due to their generosity! We will see your child back at school on Tuesday, April 9th.

As always, if you have any questions, concerns or good news to pass on please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We love to hear from you. Have a wonderful break!
