Rocket families,

We've made it to Spring Break 2024! We wish all the Rockets a relaxing and safe break. We look forward to seeing you back at school on Monday, April 1st.

Don't forget that Yearbook orders are due March 29th. That’s coming up over break, so we wanted to give you one final reminder. Here’s a link to more information about how to order. Don’t miss out! 

We are excited that our PTO is busy planning Rocket Blast for Friday April 5th from 6-8pm. It’s one of our biggest events each year. We will have carnival games, inflatables, food trucks, an awesome DJ, and more! You can buy tickets or a wristband that will cover all games, inflatables and the obstacle course. 6th graders even have a special “Club 6” just for them! Be sure to check out this flyer for more information or to sign up to volunteer.

State testing will take place during the weeks of April 8, 15, and 22.  During those testing days, it is important that our students are in attendance, well rested, and well prepared. Keep an eye out for teacher communications with specific dates for your child. Click here to see the full schedule.

To maximize your child’s testing experience, please make sure that they get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast.   Please remind your children to take their time and do their best!  It is important to have your child at school on time. There will be two parts to each test.  The time allowed for each test ranges from 60 – 120 minutes.  Students who arrive after the start time will not be permitted to enter the classroom until testing is completed and they will take the test during an alternate time. Please keep these dates and times in mind when scheduling doctor’s appointments, etc. If you have any questions about testing, please feel free to reach out to your teachers or Mr. Schneider at Benjamin.Schneider@lakotaonline.com.
