Principal's Message 10.18.24

Endeavor Families,

This week we counted the items and loaded the trucks for the Stuff the Bus Food Drive. Thank you to everyone who donated. Endeavor students collected over 1,000 items for our community! WE worked together as a whole district to collect almost 60,000 items this year for Reach Out Lakota. Amazing!

This week our 3rd grade students will take the Ohio State Tests in Reading. This test will be in two parts, so students will be testing Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (Oct. 22 & 23). This is the first of two times 3rd graders will take this test. We know test-taking can be stressful for some students, so we want to encourage all of our 3rd graders to approach the tests with a positive mindset. Remind your child that the tests are a chance for them to show off all the amazing things they've learned. We always remind students to get a good night's rest, and a healthy breakfast on testing days. We just want them to do their best and show us what they know!

Don’t forget our Trunk-or-Treat is coming up this Friday, October 25th. Come celebrate with Endeavor by wearing your costume and decorating your car (trunk). The PTO has planned an amazing event including food trucks, a DJ, and a Spooktacular Spooky City. It will be an amazing evening, but you must make reservations to participate. The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 23rd. Please click this link for all the details. What costumes will Mrs. Ware, Mrs. Webber and Braxton be wearing this year?

Report Cards for 1st Quarter will post to HAC (accessible through your OneLogin account) on Friday, October 25th at 3:00pm. Keep an eye on our newsletter for all of the other great things we have coming up. We are looking forward to Book Fair, KISS (Kids Invite Someone Special), and a Veteran's Day Assembly all within the next few weeks!
