Happy Mother's Day to all of our Rocket Moms! One of the highlights of the school year is always our annual Field Day event, which is this Friday, May 16th. Next week we look forward to our annual Parade of Graduates on Monday, May 19th. Click "Read More" for all the details!

Thank you to everyone who donated items, money, food or time to make our Staff Appreciation week amazing! We appreciate our awesome PTO and family support. Next week we have fun field trips with 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. We will also take MAP tests in Reading and Math this week. Don't forget students do not have school on Tuesday, May 6 due to election day.

Fifth graders at Endeavor Elementary are practically getting paid to go on their spring field trip. Besides the experience not costing the school a cent, every student will walk away with new entrepreneurial skills and $600 worth of products created by other elementary students around the region. 

Families often have many questions as we near the end of a school year. If you are planning a move, need to request an Alternate School, or will be withdrawing, we need to know!  Our Welcome Center can help you with these, and many other questions about school registration. All requests for Alternate School of Choice need to be completed and returned to school no later than the last business day of May. If your student will be moving out of Lakota for the 25-26 school year, please let us know!  If we can be of assistance, please reach out to us in the office.  Click "Read More" for links to the forms.

It’s been a busy, but great last full week of April here with the Rockets! We had our final week of Ohio State Testing and celebrated PTO volunteer Trisha Dunkerly at the Barb Bossu Spirit Volunteer Spirit Awards Ceremony. We even got to celebrate our amazing office staff on administrative professionals day. Everywhere you look students are working on projects this spring, from Market Madness to Design Lab to collecting data for statistics, and more!

Endeavor's Field Day is May 16th. We are looking for volunteers. Only volunteers are allowed to attend Field Day (no spectators). If you would like to help please sign up here:

What a great week we had with the Rockets! We celebrated Honor Roll, cheered on our March Madness teams, and are ending the week with an AMAZING Rocket Blast! Don't forget that Spring testing for the Ohio State Tests continues next week for 4th and 5th grades. 

We are very excited and getting ready for Rocket Blast for Friday April 4th from 6-8pm. Thank you for all the volunteers and for your donations - we couldn't have such a fun event without you. Click "Read More" for information about upcoming state testing for grades 3 & 4.

The School Smiles dentist is returning to our school on April 21^st for dental cleanings. If you missed the dentist’s first visit, there is still time to get your student signed up for our upcoming visit! Please visit https://schoolsmiles.com/student-signup/  to sign-up today!  A new form needs completed each school year to remain in the program, but if you have already completed a form for the 2024-25 school year, you do not need to sign-up again. School Smiles accepts Medicaid, private insurance, and offers self-pay rates for those who may be uninsured.
