We wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all of our amazing parents and supporters who helped support the PTO this year!! We couldn't have all of these fun events without our amazing volunteers. It's hard to believe this school year is over, but we are already planning for next year. We hope everyone has a fantastic summer break and we look forward to seeing our Rockets in the fall!

As we prepare to bid farewell to another school year, we want to express our gratitude to our students, families, and staff for their hard work, dedication, and support throughout the year. We are proud of all that we've accomplished together, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for our amazing students as they continue on their journey of learning and growth. Here's to a successful end to the school year and a wonderful summer ahead!

Be on the look out for your child to bring home their field day shirt this Thursday to wear for Field Day on Friday. Your child will also be given their yearbook if they had previously purchased one on Friday during Field Day.

It's hard to believe we are nearing the end of the school year and our 6th Graders will be enjoying their fun end of year activities next week! We are still in need of a few donations for our 6th Grade picnic. We would appreciate any help! Click "Read More" for the link to donate!

Happy Mother's Day to all of our Rocket Moms! One of the highlights of the school year is always our annual Field Day event, which is Friday, May 15th. Next week we look forward to our annual Parade of Graduates on Monday, May 18th. Click "Read More" for more details!

Thank you to everyone who donated items, money, food or time to make our Staff Appreciation week amazing! We appreciate our awesome PTO and family support. Next week we have fun field trips with 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. We will also take MAP tests in Math next week. Don't forget students do not have school on Tuesday, May 5 due to election day.

As this year is winding down, we wanted to make people aware of the PTO positions that will be vacant next year due to parents of 6th graders moving up to Plains. We have created a sign up genius with short descriptions of each roll.

It’s been a busy, but great last full week of April here with the Rockets! We had our final week of Ohio State Testing and celebrated PTO volunteer Trisha Dunkerly at the Barb Bossu Spirit Volunteer Spirit Awards Ceremony. We even got to celebrate our amazing office staff on administrative professionals day. Everywhere you look students are working on projects this spring, from Market Madness to Design Lab to collecting data for statistics, and more!

We want to thank everyone who volunteered to help plan, set up, volunteer time, and clean up to make this year another successful Rocket Blast! We cannot have these fun events without all of the hard work and efforts. We appreciate all of you!

Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 15th. Our coordinators have been busy planning this event, but need YOUR help to execute all of the fun activities! Please consider signing up for a shift. We have morning 8:15-11:30am, afternoon 11:15am-2:30pm, or you could have a fun filled day from 8:15am-2:30pm! If you choose to be an all day warrior, make sure to pack your lunch. What a great week we had with the Rockets! We finished our first round of OST, cheered on our March Madness teams, and are ending the week with an AMAZING Rocket Blast! Don't forget that Spring testing for the Ohio State Tests continues next week with our Math tests. 

We are very excited and getting ready for Rocket Blast for Friday April 4th from 6-8pm. Thank you for all the volunteers and for your donations - we couldn't have such a fun event without you. Click "Read More" for information about upcoming state testing for grades 3 & 4.

Staff Appreciation week is planned for the week of April 27th- May 1st. This year's theme is MVP!

We've made it to Spring Break 2026! We wish all the Rockets a relaxing and safe break. We look forward to seeing you back at school on Monday, April 6th.

This week we begin the 4th quarter of the 25-26 school year - can you believe it? The 4th quarter brings all sorts of excitement, including Rocket Blast, March Madness, Field Trips, Spring Testing, Field Day and more! As always, if you have any questions, concerns or good news to pass on please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our PTO is busy planning a fun Spring for the Rockets! Don't forget next week is a short week. The 3rd quarter ends Thursday, March 12th. Teachers have a Professional Development day on Friday, March 13th, and students will not attend school that day.
